Plantgasm - I love plants too much. By Derek Powazek.

Vegetable Garden Timelapse

It’s that time of year again! I’ve been moving the tomato plants I started under lights indoors to the garden bed in the back yard. This year I also sewed some seeds outside, including lettuce (thanks to Gayla for the salad mix), spinach, and carrots. I also mounted the trusty PlantCam to the bed so I could record the progress. Here’s the first 11 days. I love watching the carrots push their way toward the light.

cool – I’ve seriously been considering one of these plant cams, what’s your review?
I noticed no squirrels made cameos in your movie… lucky!

Ellie: I love mine. It’s a little fussy, and the focus is not as sharp as I’d like, but it’s waterproof, so I can leave it outside, which I’d never do with a real camera. You can get some interesting stuff out of it if you’re patient.

And the squirrels are there, lurking, waiting.

Wow! This is the first of your time lapse videos that I’ve watched. I know you have a time lapse videos on your header, did you use the plant cam for all of them?
