Plantgasm - I love plants too much. By Derek Powazek.

The Caladium Hour

Every day, just before sunset, the sun spends one of its last afternoon hours streaming into my living room window, falling on my dining table, and beaming right through the opaque, nearly transparent leaves of a Caladium growing there. And every day I think to myself, I should really photograph that. Today, I did.

That looks simply DIVINE. Otherworldly, even! I hate having moments like that where I know I should be taking a photo… that’s why, even the most mundane, I take a picture of EVERYTHING. Especially my dogs. They love getting their picture taken, hee hee.

A beautiful photo, it looks like blood pulsing through veins. My elephant ear plant is a favorite of mine to photograph for the same reason, the large protruding veins.
